Problems are smaller than we think

We all would love to live a life devoid of problems. If at all this wish were granted, we'd be living like ASIMOs. Let's get into problem solving rather than going philosophical. Problems are like movies projected on a 70mm screen. The closer we get into them, the bigger they look. All we've got to do is, get a balcony ticket and enjoy the clear picture. Is problem solving so simple? There's more to it.

Let's look at crises. A crisis is an exaggerated problem. We never run into a crisis all of a sudden. An ignorant front-bencher looking into a problem for unusually longer time stumbles upon a crisis. And this poor front-bencher, in the initial stages of the problem tries to be as close as possible and goes half-blind. In the later stages, falls in love with the problem (now a crisis). Rather than trying to solve it, he enjoys being drowned in the Oblivion. This is something that expert psychiatrists would be interested in. This goes on for quite some time. Suddenly he wakes up to the reality. Some circumstance offers him a balcony seat. Believe it or not, everyone is offered a balcony seat at some point of time. All we need is to have an open mind and wait for the offer.

We are the ones that create problems. We'd solve them only when we want to.
Problems are a necessary evil. If not, Honda would become a monopoly.
For starters, ASIMO is Honda’s flagship robo.

  1. Nice one..On a jolly note You might want to decide on the spelling of the word crisis...:)
On a serious note, yeah, problems are necessarily bigger or smaller as to what we think them as...
But on the other hand, if every one takes a balcony seat and see a problem life will be way too peaceful for every one... But what one can and one has to do is, they are always not on the front bench or even if they are on the balcony seat they have to make sure they do not come to front bench way too soon...And the only reason i see people moving to front bench is, they tend to worry about what external factors would affect them if the problem is not resolved rather than resolving the problem for their own good. You cannot correct anything because others said so. you can do it only when you want to...
Guess thats too much of lecture there...Sorry..but nice start for a blog...Keep the good work going...

  6. Good one Anand

Each of us are faced with problems, but we are also offered a choice. It is the choice we make that counts in the end...

It is an interesting thought that people start enjoyig the pain caused by the problems and refuse to solve the same which is causing many emotional break downs...
